IEC 2009 - Wisconsin

The reports from IEC 2009 are available. Lots of meaty pdfs and Power Point presentations.

It looks like work on IEC Fusion has picked up compared to 2008.

This conference appears quite small and amateurish. A search of the peer reviewed literature shows very little interest in IEC.

I wish you luck in your research, but I hope you are not holding your breath. Hopefully some results will emerge before the money is cut off.

I'd say the results are quite interesting in comparison to the number of people involved.

Productivity is high.

Compare that to ITER.

I guess they can skip the positive potential magrid shell because they are shooting an electron beam into the center with energy?

I was one of the participants in the conference as a student attendee. The reports online are a great collection. I am a college sophomore with a dual major in Physics and Mathematics @ University of California, Santa Barbara. By the way, i came across these excellent physics flash cards. Its also a great initiative by the FunnelBrain team. Amazing!!
